Traditional agriculture is very familiar to Djibril. His family raised and educated him in the practice of growing millet. This drawing shows the anatomy of the fully-grown millet field ready to be harvested. The resulting visibility of the grain together with the rigid stalks is a testimony to the attention paid to the long-term effort of growing the crop.
