Q: What is an original?
A: The original artwork currently for sale on this site are drawings Djibril made by burning directly on a piece of birch wood that has been framed with rope which he stitched on by hand.

Q: What is a print?
A: Artwork professionally copied from Djibril’s original drawing comprises a print. There are two types of prints available: (1) Offset lithograph on archival paper, and (2) IRIS Giclee on archival paper. PLEASE NOTE: while both the lithographic and the giclee prints must be handled with care and not exposed to any moisture while unframed, the giclee print is particularly susceptible to water damage. Prints are shipped sealed in a protective clear wrap with a warning about moisture, and should not be opened except at the exact time of framing.

Q: Can I get the item framed?
A: Yes, we offer framing for all items (the original artwork is already framed). There is an additional cost for framing and an additional cost for shipping (due to the larger size and weight). Please call for details.

Q: How is shipping calculated?
A: Shipping is calculated by weight. All shipments are insured. Multiple shipping options are available (Fed Ex, UPS, US Postal Service, etc.). Unframed items are generally sent within 24 hours after the order is confirmed.

Q: Where do you ship?
A: We ship to most countries. If you have an unusual shipping situation, we will contact you right away. We are sorry but framed prints cannot be shipped outside of the U.S.

Q: Is sales tax applicable?
A: All applicable sales tax is included in the price.

Q: Can I pick up an order or buy in person?
A: Yes. Of course you will not pay any shipping charges if you take this option.

A: We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied we will gladly accept a return for exchange or for refund (less S&H), provided the item is returned within fifteen (15) days from date of shipment and no moisture damage has been incurred.
